Blue star rekindles love with his ex

BAD news, girls. Blue hunk Duncan James is back with his former girlfriend Anya Lahiri and has penned a song about the only girl to steal his heart.The 25-year-old singer rang 3am yesterday to put the record straight, telling us that he didn't cheat on South African dancer Janine Boosie as she was only a "summer fling" and of his feelings for Anya. IN LOVE: Hunk Duncan"I'm not a Darren Day love-rat at all, no offence to Darren."I met Janine on the set of our video You Make Me Wanna in June. She came over to London so I suggested she stay with me for a few weeks," he told us."She is a lovely person. But we both knew that she was going back to South Africa at the end of the summer and it wasn't going to be anything more than that. It was an understanding."Duncan and Anya from now-defunct girlband Precious went out for three months but split up in March 2002.The singer blames it on the fact that he was getting distracted by being a celebrity."It was when we'd just become famous and I was loving the fact that I was getting attention from girls like Martine McCutcheon and Dani Behr. I grew up watching them on TV and suddenly they were fancying me."But Anya broke up with her boyfriend of nine years recently and Duncan took her out for dinner a few weeks ago... and it has taken off from there."We ended up kissing and it was weird for me as I've been really loved up with Anya for 18 months. She was my girl. I just hope she isn't on the rebound."Duncan told us that Anya is the only girl he has been in love with and the band's next single, Guilty, out on October 20, is about her."I wrote it with Gary Barlow. He knew her from Precious. I poured my heart out to him and told him how I felt about her and we put the track together."I recorded a demo with just my voice on it and sent it to her. It wasn't my plan to split her up from her boyfriend. I just wanted her to hear the song I wrote. She started crying." The lyrics include the lines:
"I've found everything I need. I never wanted just to be the other guy. I never want to live a lie. "If loving you with all my heart's a crime, then I'm guilty." The pair have spent the past week together but Anya, 22, is flying off to Romania to make a film. "She has also just played the love interest in Matt Goss's new video. She had to smooch him in bed - which I wasn't very happy about!"
Duncan also took the opportunity to have a dig at bandmate Lee Ryan, who we reported last year had romped with a couple of girls in a VIP room at Chinawhite.
"I'm not the type to go sha**ing women behind a curtain at Chinawhite," he laughed. "That's not my style. "You know when you meet someone and you just know? Well, Anya's the only girl I've had that with. She's the woman for me."
